The Challenge

As a traditionally seasonal business in a competitive sector, Garden Solutions needed an online strategy that would generate leads quickly and promote their expanding range of services that they could fulfil in the winter months. They had never previously run any digital marketing activity and the local competition was also very strong, with many smaller companies with less overheads offering cheaper prices.

The Solution

We built out new service and location-based landing pages on the website with full tracking in place to capture the source of both phone calls and contact forms. We devised the SEO strategy around local search to cover Stroud and the surrounding areas. For the paid search campaigns, we focused on driving traffic and conversions through targeting their core services, including full-service design projects, decking, patios and artificial grass to deliver a steady stream of quality leads.

The Results

Our strategies have enabled Phil to grow his teams from 2 to 5 and they generated a turnover of £50k in the first 3 months. They are now receiving higher-value projects in other Gloucestershire towns beyond Stroud including Cheltenham and Gloucester.
